A LED display sending card and receiving card quantity calculation

Example: Now the customer has customized a P10 indoor full color display, requiring a length of 20 meters and a height of 10 meters.

  1. Calculate how many modules to use.

P10 display unit board size is: 32cm * 16cm.

Length using module number: 2000cm/32cm=62.5

Width using modules 1000cm/16cm = 62.5

2, calculate the length and width of the resolution:

(The pixels of P10 indoor unit board are: 32*16)

The actual resolution of the display is: length: 32 × 63 = 2016 width: 16 × 63 = 1008

  1. Calculate the number of receiving cards.
(256*128 for the receiving card of the indoor screen)

Length: 2016 ÷ 256 = 7.875, which is approximately equal to 8

Width: 1008 ÷ 128 = 7.875, approximately equal to 8

8 × 8 + 1 = 65 receiving card (an extra receiving card)

4, calculate the number of sending cards
(Linsn sending card is 1280 * 1024)

2016 ÷ 1280 = 1.575, approximately equal to 2

1008 ÷ 1024 = 0.98 approximately equal to 1

1×2=2 sending cards.

Outdoor full-color LED display sending card and receiving card calculation:

For outdoor full-color LED display, we can count according to the number of boxes, can be one or two boxes a receiving card, a box a card or two boxes a card, government projects is a box a card, other are two boxes a card.

Example: The customer customized a P10 outdoor full-color display, requiring a length of 20 meters and a height of 12 meters.

Selected is 96cm * 96cm size of the P10 box, can be derived:

The number of boxes needed for the length: 20 ÷ 0.96 = 20.8

Wide need the number of boxes: 12 ÷ 0.96 = 12.5

  1. Calculate the number of receiving cards.

The number of boxes: 21 × 13 + 1 = 274

Government projects: 273 receiving cards

General engineering: 273 ÷ 2 + 1 = 138 receiving card

Note: All of the above need to have an extra receiving card

  1. Calculate the resolution:

According to the above calculation, take the whole number, the length of 21 boxes, the width of 13 boxes.

The actual resolution of the display is

Length: 21 × 960 = 2016 Width: 13 × 960 = 1248

3, calculate the number of cards sent
(The sending card of Lingxing Yu is 1280*1024)

2016÷1280=1.58 approximately equal to 2

1248 ÷ 1024 = 1.22 is approximately equal to 2, the

2×2=4 sending cards

Summary: In general, the receiving card, indoor based on the display resolution to calculate, outdoor based on the number of boxes (a box of a card or two boxes of a card) to calculate. As for the sending card indoor and outdoor are based on the screen resolution to calculate.
